My Experience - Good Games & Filters, But Concerned About the Fines by AGCO
BetVictor Ontario has a sports book and an online casino. My review is about the casino, which impressed me with easy-to-use filters that make finding games very easy. The landing page has a list of links to different sections of the casino on the left, a menu with links to the sports book, casino, live casino, and offers in the middle, and a mini games section on the right.
When I hovered over each game listed in the mini games section, the thumbnail zoomed in a little. Little details like this impress me so much, as I know the design team is on top of things. There is a search bar and a sub-menu below the main menu, where you can select different game types like BV Picks, All Slots, Jackpots, Instant Wins, Drops and Wins, and Tables. Results from the search or from selecting a game type appear in the section below the sub-menu.
My research looked beyond only what's on the BetVictor Ontario site. I did a little digging and found a major red flag! BetVictor was ordered to pay CA$15,000 in fines by AGCO in 2023 after it was found allowing fans to bet on minor leagues. This action violates Standard 4.34[1]. My worry then is, if BetVictor has violated the rules once, won't it do it again?
