Classic Casino Ontario has ties to Apollo Entertainment, which was fined C$100,000 by AGCO for violations. The fine was issued to Apollo Ent. after one of its casinos failed to intervene while one of its members lost C$2 million.
While this incident did not necessarily happen at Casino Classic, it casts doubt on all 7 Ontario casinos owned by Apollo Entertainment. We found it odd that there is no information on the Internet about the casino where a player lost such a huge amount.
Casino Classic Still Has A Valid License After 2023 Fines
Casino Classic Ontario is lucky to still have a valid license after Apollo Entertainment, the registered owners, paid a C$100,000 fine for violations of AGCO regulations in 2023. The casino is still listed by iGaming Ontario[4] and is one of the 7 brands offering the Casino Rewards loyalty program[5].
Our trust in this casino was heightened by the eCOGRA[6] stamp displayed at the bottom of the landing page. The eCOGRA certificate was issued on 09 December 2024 and will be valid till 08 December 2025. It proves that games listed on the site are fair and that the operator is honest.
