Responsible Gambling Messages to Feature at NFL Stadiums
This year's Responsible Gambling Education Month is going to see NFL stadiums promoting responsible gambling messages to fans. It will include encouraging bettors to set budgets and take time outs as well as having access to the different responsible gambling resources that are available.
This initiative between BetMGM, MGM Resorts, and the AGA comes just in the time for the start of the NFL season and will include the promotion of GameSense messages across almost a dozen NFL stadiums.
One New Stadium Added for the 2025 RGEM
One new stadium has been added this year and 2025 marks the third year in a row that BetMGM, MGM Resorts, and the AGA have come together to promote RGEM.
The GameSense messages will be promoted via LED ribbons throughout the football season which kicks off on the 4th of September. The AGA's Play Smart from the Start messages for responsible gambling will also be broadcast to players via digital platforms and at MGM retail venues. This will include the new MGM Grand Live Dealer studio.
There will be QR codes that will take players to responsible gambling resources along with messages that will remind bettors to set budgets and timeouts. These will be available to all BetMGM sportsbook players.
GameSense Advisors are also on board and they will provide support and information at BetMGM sportsbook and MGM Rewards desks.
MGM Resorts has also confirmed that they have donated $250,000 to the International Centre for Responsible Gambling. This will be used to support independent peer-reviewed research that looks at the best practices for supporting casino employees as well as player protection strategies.
Adding GameSense messages in league stadiums allows responsible gambling messages to reach millions of fans every week and it's a great way to promote safer gambling and public awareness.
