BetMGM's Mullet Over responsible gambling campaign will encourage bettor to make sure of responsible gambling tools that are made available at licensed online betting sites across the United States and in Canada. The new RG commercial has already begun airing and is highlighting BetMGM's commitment to protecting consumers.
The responsible gambling commercial features Connor McDavid, the BetMGM brand ambassador and three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner, as well as Terry Ryan, former NHL player turned actor.
Mullet Over Commercial Encourages Use of Responsible Gambling Tools
The Mullet Over responsible gambling campaign encourages BetMGM players to use the responsible gambling tools are resources that are made available to them. This new campaign is building on the success of the collaboration BetMGM had with Connor McDavid in 2024 with a campaign called "Carried Away" which helped increase the use of responsible gambling tools such as setting deposit and betting limits.
BetMGM's success with its responsible gambling campaigns has been evident in its 38% year-on-year increase in the number of players using deposit limits at BetMGM Ontario. After the airing of the Carried Away campaign, BetMGM also saw a 55% increase in players in Ontario setting betting limits.
The company also brought responsible gambling messages promoting the use of GameSense to NFL stadiums in September 2025, for Responsible Gambling Education Month in collaboration with the American Gaming Association (AGA).
In the new Mullet Over commercial, BetMGM is encouraging players to think carefully before making a decision and to use a responsible gambling tool.
BetMGM offers a range of responsible gambling tools including the ability to set deposit, bet, time, and spending limits. It also offers the GameSense program which is available on desktop and mobile devices and at all MGM Resorts properties. With GameSense, players can access advice and tips and learn more about playing responsibly.

BetMGM uses creative ways to deliver responsible gambling messages and Richard Taylor the Director of BetMGM's Responsible Gambling was excited about this new commercial. In a press release he stated, "Our new campaign with Connor and Terry builds upon our approach to deliver an entertaining and memorable responsible gambling message. We're committed to finding new and creative ways to reach customers and encourage them to 'mull it over' before they place a bet."

The new Mullet Over responsible play commercial was directed and produced by CAPE, a creative agency based in New York, in collaboration with BetMGM's responsible gambling and creative teams. The commercial can already be seen across the United States and Canada and is also available via digital channels such as Youtube as shown above.
